I have been a huge fan of Survivor since the 2nd season premiere and the latest installment, Survivor: One World, premieres this Wednesday, February 15th at 8:00 PM on CBS. This season is bringing us big twists and changes to the game. Click here for my thoughts on the new twist over at The Voice of TV and be sure to check back to see how the season unfolds.
In the past few weeks I have had the opportunity to talk with both Randy Jackson and Nigel Lythgoe about this season of American Idol. While neither would tell me about any hidden gems, a la when Kris Allen wasnt shown before the semi-finals week, we did get some good insight on where they see their show against the others and what we can look forward to during Hollywood Week.
Well that was a great start to my newest workout plan. Yesterday was my first TRX class and it started out great. The class is a full group, mixed of students both new (me!) and seasoned. The class is taught by Megan Poss of Roots Yoga & Fitness Studio in Spokane. I know Megan from her past work in the Admission Office at Gonzaga and she is great.
The class started great and quickly I was dripping in sweat. Not bad for a new system. We went through an array of different exercises and I quickly learned that I a) don’t have the best balance on 1 foot, even when using the handles, b) I currently don’t work out my legs enough.
I was privileged enough to get to talk with Lisa Kudrow recently about the upcoming Season 3 of Who Do You Think You Are? on NBC. The show premieres on Friday, Feb. 3rd at 8:00 PM, and if you haven’t checked this show out, you are really missing out.
The show researches the history and genealogy of celebrities and looks at where their family came from. It’s an outstanding show that can really teach you about your families history. This season includes Reba McEntire, Rob Lowe, Jason Sudeikis, Rashida Jones, Paula Dean, and Jerome Bettis among others.
